Just another typical dinner conversation, courtesy of Nate:

Nate:  Mom, what do dogs eat?
Me: All kinds of stuff...they like meat, mostly.
Nate: Then what eats a dog?
Me: Hmmm...a bear could, or a mountain lion....Chinese people!
Nate: (silence for a few moments with a horrified look on his face) Mom, then what eats Chinese people?
Ben: Godzilla!
Nate: What eats Godzilla?
Ben: Nothing eats Godzilla.
Nate: Oh, so Godzilla is at the top of the food chain?
Ben: Yep, Godzilla is definitely at the top of the food chain, Nate.
