Our Disney Vacation

Brace yourself for the mother-of-all-posts....

The boys were amazingly well-behaved on our first road trip in the car!

About 16 hours later....

Our room at the Carribbean Beach resort. The boys were diggin' the whole pirate theme!

The resort also had the coolest pirate themed pools! This is just the small one for the kids. I didn't take any of the adult one (complete with caves and water cannons), but it was really awesome too.Every few minutes, a bucket at the top of the ship filled with water and a bell would ring when it was about to dump...here are Spence and Ben in the down-pour. Let me just say it was very refreshing after a hot, humid, summer day in Florida! I think Ben enjoyed it as much as the boys...but to be honest, so did I. Finally made it to Magic Kingdom!

First of many character pictures...

One of my favorites, the teacups! (Ben looks way too excited.)

Dumbo! The longest line for the shortest ride you'll ever take...but it was worth it for Nate's face.

Waiting in line for Peter Pan with Grandpa!

Another character photo...

This guy was hoppin'. Literally...

Uncle Andrew helping to pass the time with a rousing game of "Peek-a-boo."

Nate got this cool Buzz at Mama Melrose. Then shortly after managed to get himself lost, enlisting the entire staff of Hollywood Studios to help find him. I have all gray hair now....seriously, I'll take a picture. Needless to say, I don't think I can ever eat there again, even though the food was awesome.

Patiently waiting in line to meet Buzz and Woody in the flesh...peeking through the window.

Spence apparently did not want to be strapped to a rocket, go figure?

The long awaited embrace. Don't they look like they have been parted for years?
Feelin' the Buzz love too...
We heart Toy Story!

We found this random eyeball wandering around...

...and some cars with buck teeth. Spencer was so excited he kept repeating car, car, car. What is it about boys and cars?

We arranged to have breakfast at the Grand Floridian the last morning we were there. I think it is by far the best resort at Disney, and the most pricey. But you get what you pay for right? It had a really cool style from the 1890's.

A spoon-full from Mary Poppins...

...And we end with a picture of some of my favorite characters. It only took 3 Disney visits to meet them!
It was magical and the boys had a blast, but I think I am Disney-ed out for at least the next 3 years!

such fun pictures- I smiled at each one. I could just imagine looking for the toy and Spencer's expressions. All Nate's favorites- he must have been in Toy Story Heaven.

disney-ed out?! no way! :) we can wait three years and then we'll all go on that Disney Cruise Ben said he could get discounts for :) Plus by then this baby will be almost three and we'll be able to actually have fun!
