British Blunders

Here is your laugh for the day....

Ben walked down the street this morning to the local convenience market to get some milk for breakfast (which we do about once a day as the milk is like half the size here). Anyway, the guy at the counter asked Ben if he was enjoying the heat outside. (In England, anything over 70 degrees apparently is hot). Ben replied by saying, "Yeah, I think I'm gonna go put on some pants." He was wearing long pants at the time and meant to say he would change into shorts. Now, this alone would have been funny to have said in America, but it gets better. Before he left, Ben said the guy gave him a really strange look. Here is why....
FYI, in England, "pants" means underwear.
I've been laughing all day.
