I planted a lilac bush in our front yard a couple years ago, and sadly it did not bloom last year because of the shock. Ben always teases me for having a black thumb...but now success! (I will get the hang of this gardening thing eventually.) But this year it bloomed all over! It smells so wonderful when you walk past it! I love spring, so it's too bad that it doesn't last long. I will just have to enjoy these beauties while I can. In your face Ben! ;)

Pretty! We had a lilac bush in our yard when I was growing up and I loved it but I was always sad that they didn't last for very long. I'm glad it isn't snowing there so you can enjoy them! :)
